Two Ulupreneurs were named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 List, an Ulu portfolio firm announced plans to build a $1B electric battery manufacturing plant, and we explored one founder’s story about re-engineering a feminine product for the first time in 90 years!

Maria Salamanca spoke on a GP panel exploring fund raising, fund building, and the macro environment for emerging funds at the Culture Shifting Summit in Miami. These annual summits—which take place in Silicon Valley, New York, Miami, and London—unite more than 300 accomplished Black and Latino tech executives, entrepreneurs, investors, innovators and social impact leaders.

Chevron Decision Analysis and Business and Commercial Community

Clint Korver led a webinar for the “Chevron Decision Analysis and Business and Commercial Community”. The group usually explores how DA can help make better decisions through software, tools, and/or consulting. Clint’s presentation focused on how Ulu Ventures uses decision analysis in venture investing and why it helps make better decisions about which startups to fund.

Latinx MBA Annual Leadership Summit

Nancy Torres led the keynote session at the Latinx MBA Annual Leadership Summit with tech founders, including Ulupreneur Tanya Menendez, co-founder of Snowball Wealth. This year’s Summit centered around the technology and innovation ecosystems, bringing together Latinx MBA alumni leaders working as founders, operators, and investors for community building, peer mentoring, industry learning, and executive coaching.
