Impact has hosted leading asset managers, family offices, foundations, and entrepreneurs representing over $50 billion in assets under management to explore the ways in which the history of racial terror has affected the asset management industry, and how we can use this context to create ways to reduce bias and stop the underestimation of women and people of color within the industry.
Black History Month
During Black History Month, we celebrated our Black founders and highlighted the story of Ulupreneur Ifueko Igbinedion, co-founder—along with sister Isoken—of Parfait, a platform that uses AI to design custom wigs. Ifueko holds graduate degrees from Stanford in computer science and electrical engineering, and is now a PhD candidate at MIT. Her lifelong dedication to solving hair care problems has evolved into a high-tech solution that has many investors excited, including Serena Williams, Ulu, and others. You can read her story here.
