Advancing Economic Mobility
Miriam Rivera was a panelist at the Aspen Institute Latinos & Society’s “Advancing Economic Mobility” event. The panel, titled “The Economic State of Latinos in the US: Savers and Investors,” discussed how the industry can better reflect shifting demographics, the strategies needed to create more inclusive workplaces, and how the industry can redefine its future, given the disproportionately low representation of diverse-owned firms in venture capital.
Ulu Seminar
Ulu Ventures held a two-day seminar for limited partners and potential investors diving into the Ulu process for making better decisions through analysis, data, and bias reduction. Participants also had the opportunity to try out our approach on a group case exercise based on one of our real venture investment decisions.
