Bio

Kevin Hoffberg is a Venture Partner at Ulu Ventures. He has spent his career addressing some of the most difficult strategic problems facing large organizations.

The focus for the first twenty years of his career was on Go-to-Market Strategy, Customer Experience, Sales, Service, Key Accounts, and Customer Relationships Management. He did that primarily as a consultant through firms that he founded.

Starting in 2002, and in partnership with Ulu Managing Director Clint Korver, Kevin focused on the broader topic of quality decision-making and applied that discipline to a broad range of topics and companies.

Since 1980, Kevin was a co-founder of three start-ups (in addition to the consulting and training companies he founded).

During his career, Kevin worked as a senior executive in two different companies. At the first, Onyx Software, he was the Chief Knowledge Officer. From 2010 to 2016 he was the Managing Director of Marketing for the Private Client Services business at Russell Investments (US retail mutual fund business).

Kevin splits his time between Ulu and farming on an island in the Salish Sea, commuting to town and airport when he needs to by boat. In both cases, keeping your tools sharp, wearing good boots, and stopping from time to time to just look around seem like good advice.
