Miriam Rivera was a featured speaker at the Women’s Venture Capital Summit and discussed Looking Beyond the Valley—What Does Deal Sourcing Look Like in a Post-Pandemic World?  She highlighted key points such as the significant opportunities for investment in Silicon Valley’s diverse founders, and how hiring a diverse team also promotes diversification of sourcing and LPs.

DAOs for Social Change and Impact

Ulu Ventures Principal, Nancy Torres, was a speaker at Syndicate’s Twitter Spaces event “DAOs for Social Change and Impact.” She talked about Ulu’s focus on diversity, and how Syndicate fits into Ulu’s strategy given the potential for DAOs (decentralized autonomous organizations) to democratize access to capital and investing for diverse, underrepresented communities.
