We celebrated with friends, founders and investors at the Kohl Mansion for Ulu’s Grateful Gathering. And Ulupreneurs raised $29M!

Miriam Rivera was among a group of women investors highlighted in a Venture Capital Journal article about how unique dealflow gives women VCs an edge.


Miriam was a panelist on the Serving on Venture Capital-Backed Company Boards for the Black Corporate Board Readiness (BCBR) program, offered through the Leavey Executive Center at Santa Clara University. The panel explored the unique governance dynamics and board makeup of VC-backed companies, including the role of investor directors. The goal is to help participants explore opportunities to serve on private company boards.


Trina Weller participated in a panel at the Bay Area Bio-Pharma Statistics Workshopand gave a talk showcasing how the Decision Quality framework empowers organizations to make smarter, faster, and more innovative decisions. She also addressed ways in which AI can enhance decision-making and be incorporated with human judgment.


We interviewed Ulupreneur Samantha Citro Alexander, co-founder and CEO of FoodHealth, about her passions in making the food industry more transparent for consumers. We explored her mission to improve the health of America’s grocery carts, what their FoodHealth score means, and what it’s like working with Ulu Ventures.
