Octant uses synthetic biology to advance computational drug discovery, mapping functional interactions between chemicals and human targets by linking biological pathways to digital outputs.

The platform uses DNA sequencing, gene synthesis, gene editing, and data science to engineer cells, the most sophisticated information processors on earth, to serve as a data network.

Octant has built, optimized, and scaled a method to systematically map large chemical and receptor-cell libraries faster and cheaper than conventional approaches, opening a path to the vast amount of empirical data needed to rationally attack and understand complex diseases.
